Aiden told me last night "You can't fix tings inside da house cause you can't REACH them, Mama! You not tall like Daddy. You yiddle (little), you not tall. You can only fix tings OUTSIDE, Mama."
I love to watch the girls playing this game: Julia bounces Lexie on her lap and sings German songs to her that she learned at school. They fall down and giggle and then Lexie stands up and says "More!"
Lexie is saying "'Elp me, Mama" (help) a lot now and yesterday when Wally got home, she ran into the kitchen yelling, "Mama, Mama! Dada 'ome!" I love and hate how much she is growing up. Right now she is eating some "i-keem" with Daddy. "Elp me, Mama" was one of Aiden's first sentences too!
"Mama, can my have da rest of you famitch?" Can you translate this? Aiden has a language of his own! (Can I have the rest of your sandwich?)
Every bite of ice cream Aiden takes he has to hold up the spoon and ask "Daddy, is dis a brain-fweeze?"
I caught Lexie dipping her Dora doll's head in the toilet this morning....when I asked her what she was doing, she said Dora had to go poop
Aiden has announced that he wants to be a fireman/pirate/soldier when he grows up...ummm, where do you go to college for that?!
Julia is watching the end of The Sound of Music when Maria and CPT Von Trapp get married and she asked me "Where is your wedding dress?" I told her it was at my parents' house and she said "Maybe I can wear it?" So sweet & cute, it just killed me! (Of course I said yes!!)
