Busy January

Here's what we've been up to this month!

We've been bowling!




We went to the Girl Scout Cookie Kick-Off.


We've taken walks in the snow.


Isn't this what everyone does? ;)


Julia got her very first pedicure!!


Of course, she was a fan!


We've had dinners with friends.


We sang karaoke.




And we've played so hard in the snow that we just had to take a nap before dinner!

Funny kids

Lexie and I are in the kitchen cooking dinner, she's sitting on the counter. She hands me a necklace and I say "Pretty" ...she says "It for you!" so I put it on. She says "Oh, Mommy, you a pretty mermaid!" I said "I am?" She said "You in the wat-o" (water) I said "Are you a pretty mermaid?" She says "Not yet" 

Aiden coined a new term at our house today: fa-diculous! Love it!

Lexie's been listening when Julia and I sing on Karaoke Revolution! She just walked by singing "So What" by Pink! "So what, my a wock tar, got my wock moo, n I dote neeeeeee you" 

Aiden about an hour ago: Mommy and Daddy, come quick and look! Dere a terrible disaster! Da snow come back!! 

Lexie: Be-nastics ah-mah-yo ..... Translation: Gymnastics tomorrow 

Aiden chose our whole meal tonight: meatballs, potatoes, and green beans. I asked him how he liked his meatballs and his response? "Woulda been better with rice!" Nice. 

And since Julia doesn't often make it into the "funny kid" posts since she's a little older...here's a silly one of her with her friends Eva and Avery!
