Aiden's 4th Pokemon Birthday Party

Aiden wanted to have a cake that looked like a Pokeball for his birthday this year.  So I figured out how I was going to make it, and we got to work.
My boy insisted that he had to smell the dry cake mix before we started :)


It passed the smell test!

Aiden really enjoyed having his party at Megaplay last year, so this year we headed back!

NES Read-a-thon

The school made a goal last fall to read 300,000 minutes.  If they did, the principal would have to kiss a pig! The assembly was today.  The pig was kissed and winners for each grade were announced.  I had been given the heads up by her teacher that Julia was going to get 3rd place for the entire 2nd grade so I was there to snap some pics.

In the audience before the assembly...she has no idea she is one of the prize winners.


I got as close as I could and ducked down to try to get a picture of her reaction when they called her name.  A little blurry, but the best I could do. She was shocked!

Julia's 8th Mad Scientist Birthday Party

Back in February, Julia and I came up with the idea to have a Mad Scientist themed party with experiments and games. We scoured the Internet and party planning books for ideas.  This is how turned out.








Making snow...one of my former students, Syeanna Pedroza, helped out with Julia's party for the second year in a row.






Having fun at his big sister's party! I think he's excited because he knows in just a few weeks, it'll be his turn!


The Dads initiated a game of Dodgeball of course :)

And...not to be forgotten...Lexie had a HUGE diaper blowout during this party, it was all over me, her and everything else.  Here she is after a bath and a change of clothes, back to playing with Eva :) A memory-maker!

Julia's play E-I-E-I Oops! was today.  She and Avery played two "Cute Chicks!" Look at adorable they are!



They did such a great job! We are all so proud of them!
