Last Sleepover

Julia's friend Avery and her family are moving to Alaska.  They're leaving while we're on vacation so Julia, Eva, and Avery had their last sleepover together.  These girls have inseparable for the past two years, it's sad that they won't be able to do this all the time anymore.


After a pizza dinner, we went over to Eschenbach for some ice cream!




The next morning we gave Avery a scrapbook of pictures that we made for her before we said goodbye.  There were lots of tears and it was very sad.

We'll miss you, Gabavics family! We hope that our paths cross again one day!

Camp Lachenwald

Julia and Eva are spending a week at Girl Scout camp.  It's about 2 hours away from home. They were so excited!

The morning after they arrived, the camp posted this to their Facebook page...Julia and Eva hoisting the flag! Looks like they're having fun!


**UPDATE** Julia ended up getting a fever and having to come home from camp! After a quick trip to the doctor, she was deemed healthy once the fever had subsided and she was able to return to camp and finish out the week.

Last Day

Today was Julia's LAST day of 2nd grade! We will miss you, Mrs. Driscoll!

Camp Haircut

Julia's getting ready to go to Girl Scout Camp for a week after school gets out so it was time for a shorter haircut that she can manage on her own!

2010 Signal Ball

On the 5th, Wally and I went to the Signal Ball.

Sad these came out blurry, but I had a great time with Alison, Alicia, and Rachel.

Summer Fun

Well the weather here isn't super summery, but we're having a good one anyway!
We went to the Spring Fest in Weiden, and the girls rode ponies...Lexie still calls them "yee haws"


Julia picked the biggest horse.  Aiden rode at the last fest we went to, but declined this time, because he said "it was a yiddle bit 'cary" (scary)...sweet boy!


We had a great time!
