Goodbyes Are The Worst

Here we are at the terminal in Ramstein, fake smiles all around.



Wally took some time with each one of our babies, talking and snuggling with them.
Julia was up first.

Wally reminded Lexie that he was leaving.  She kept saying "But you comin' back!" She has total faith and trust in him, it was so sweet to hear.


Talking with Aiden...despite the way this looks, Aiden really has no concept of how long this will be.  This was just a perfectly timed picture :)

Visit to the States--Part 3

After we left Mamaw's house, we stopped back by my parents' place for a few days on our way back up to SC.
My mom had this cool idea for a picture...too bad Lexie was not cooperating!


We took Julia and Kayla for pedicures.


And we went to dinner at Uncle Greg and Susan's house.

Next stop was Georgia to see Wally's sister Lois and her family!


Then it was back to Grandad and GG's place! They threw a party and some of Wally's friends came.
