Thanksgiving

Since my mom is here for Thanksgiving this year, I didn't have to cook a thing! It was so great not to have to worry about it this year. We invited Kellie Neubauer and her kids over for dinner, and then my friend Jamie Hollenbeck, her mom Denise, and her son Logan came over for dessert.  It was a nice time, and I can't thank my mom enough for preparing all of that food and taking care of all of us. I can't believe it's almost time for her to head back to Florida! We're going to miss her so much!

We've gotten a lot of snow lately so the girls played while we did all the final meal preparation. Aiden wanted to stay inside where it was nice and warm, and I can't say that I blame him!

They slid down the hill in our yard...

And made snow angels.

This carrot cake was literally the best I've ever had in my life! We're still eating it!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Polish Pottery Trip

Mom, the kids, and I went to Dresden and then drove into Poland to go pottery shopping.  We were both so excited to do this! It was freezing, in the 20's the whole time, but we had a great time!

Decisions, decisions...

At the Dresden Christmas market...word on the street is that this is the oldest Christmas market in Germany.

It was FREEZING so we warmed up with some gluwein!

What I will remember most about this market is this:

Why will I remember this food? Because it horse! YES, you read that right, horse! I asked multiple times and through a quick game of charades, it was confirmed to me that yes, they were selling horse bratwurst, among other things.  My choices were horse or deer!!! Needless to say, I ate neither :(

Back to Prague We Go!

It's no secret that we love Prague! We have been so many times, but we always find something new and cool to do.  Moshie was excited to visit Prague again too.

This is what Lexie did when my mom told her, "Put your hand on your hips!"
