Mother's Day

The countdown is on, he'll be in just a matter of hours!! We are SOOOOO EXCITED! I'm taking a half day of work off tomorrow to pick him up, but then I've got to be there the rest of the week because we're being observed for our accreditation this week...of course!
Mother's Day is today, and Wally sent flowers so that was very sweet.  Today I got the best gift ever, the sweetest letter from Julia.

Well Mom, I want to tell you some ways that we are alike.  We both like to go shopping for clothes.  Most of the time we agree on the same clothes, toys, or books.  I think we are both good readers.  We both love to read when we have a really good book like Harry Potter.  I know we both like to sing.  You are an awesome singer and you say I am too. We like to cook lasagna.  Well....you are the one who cooks and you're a great cook.  So I think I'll be one too. (it probably runs in our blood)  I think this one is the most important one....that I love you and you love me!

Well, now I want to tell you some ways I think we are different.  I'm picky and you're not.  You're the best drawer in the world and I'm not that good.  You have brown hair and I have blond. I like So Random and you like Grey's Anatomy.  Either way, I still love you! This is your nine-year-old giving an applause to the best mom ever which is you.  I love you! Happy Mother's Day!

You are the stars and I am the moon.  The stars and the moon work together just like me and you! 

I hope all of the moms in our lives have had wonderful days...especially my mom, Mamaw and GG.  We couldn't have made it through this experience without the three of you.  Thank you, and I hope you know how much we LOVE and APPRECIATE you!!!!
