The Smith's Take Orlando

We made it into Orlando International Airport with our 10 pieces of luggage, 5 carry-ons, 2 car seats, and 2 pets. After we checked into our hotel, we immediately ordered pizza from Papa John's.  Then we sprawled out on the beds, ate and watched some TV.  Wally and I watched the Casey Anthony coverage on Nancy Grace and the kids watched a movie.
The next day we picked up the van and made plans for the day.  We ended up having to drop the van back off to get a noise checked out and in the meantime we purchased phones.  We also test drove a few cars. We ended up getting a cream Kia Sorrento, and I'm really loving it so far.

In Atlanta, our plane was delayed for three hours, and we were exhausted!

It was the middle of the night to us, but Lexie was wide awake and drawing!

What we came with.

We had dinner at Outback with Mamaw.

Goodbye, Grafenwoehr

We are back in Graf, finishing up our last minute errands.  We had one last dinner at Puttner Brau with Dale and Pam.  We're really going to miss them!

And Julia got to spend some time with her friend Maddie, which was really important to her.  She was so sad to say goodbye to her.

Since we've already signed out of our house, we're in the hotel on post until we leave early Monday morning. While I'm writing this, Lexie is brushing my hair and singing the song that the mother sings in Tangled that turns Rapunzel's hair gold.  Silly girl.
We are excited for this next chapter in our life, but as always, it's sad to close the door on this one.  Goodbye, Grafenwoehr.  We will miss you.

Next it's back to Grafenwohr for a few nights and then we're headed to Kansas! But first, a pit stop on the East coast to visit friends and family!

Venice, Italy

Grabbing a water taxi

It was soooo hot, and all the ladies were wearing hats.  They were for sale everywhere so the girls and I joined in the fun.

Venice was incredible, and we know we'll be back!

Salzburg, Austria

Our lovely hotel in Salzburg

Lexie's relaxing on the balcony

This fountain was in the Sound of Music...look how tiny Aiden looks next to it!

The Dom

The Fortress

Amazing view of Salzburg from the Fortress

Climbing a pyramid of cannonballs

Inside a small marionette museum within the Fortress

This cemetary was in The Sound of Music. Remember when they hid behind the tombstones at the end of the movie and the guards rattled the gates?

And I don't know what was going on here, but I had to capture this silly moment :)

My girl!

At the salt mine, suiting up in our "traditional miner's clothes"

We loved Salzburg! What a wonderful city!!
