To Kansas We Go!

We made one last pit stop at Grandad and GG's in SC before heading out on our trip.  We drove both cars...we were so excited to drive halfway across the U.S.!

Lexie got her first manicure and pedicure from someone besides Mommy :)


The girls got these books from their kids' meals and couldn't help reading them as we were walking through the Augusta mall.


And they were very excited to check out the free samples in Sephora :)

On the road to Lansing, Kansas!

Sadly, it wasn't always possible to stop after this.  And we got tired. Oh well. We arrived in Kansas safe and sound.  Outside of St. Louis, we passed Auffenberg Hyundai. :)

We got the keys to our new place and checked into our hotel.  In a few more days, our household goods will arrive.

My parents kept the kids while we were on our cruise.  They had a great time with their grandparents!!

We're glad they had fun, but we sure missed them! Glad to be back together as a family and ready to head to our new home in Kansas!!!

Cruise

Wally really wanted to go on a cruise, just the two of us, once he got back.  We took a Carnival cruise out of Tampa to Cozumel.  We had a good time, but I swear I slept half of the vacation! I was just physically and mentally exhausted!!!! We didn't get a ton of pictures, but here are a few of the professional ones.

My parents had a 4th of July party, and my mom made this great cake in order to celebrate all four of the grandkids birthdays this year.




The party was really fun...we got to see a lot of people that we hadn't seen in awhile.
Erik made these incredible ribs!
