It's September. It's 1pm. It has only made it up to 47 degrees. It. Is. Cold. And it's not a "dry" cold like it was in Mannheim. We're in a very rainy area, so it's wet AND cold. I had to send the kids to school in hats and coats. At this rate we'll be in snow pants by November! Ok, gotta go buy Aiden a new heavy coat. His is getting too small. I thought I had some time, but apparently not.
PS: Did I mention that it's SEPTEMBER?!

I know what you mean about the cold. And I hate it, so we're super happy to be back in the south. The nice thing is hot chocolate and coffee. Hang in there and by May you'll have some spectacular weather.
I feel your pain :)We are wet & cold this week. I put Alex's heavy coat on him this morning it was 9 Celsius this morning !
Thought I had a few extra weeks before I did his winter shopping - nope doing it today !
However for the last few years we get an Indian summer between September & October - crossing fingers
That really stinks.. I hate the cold weather even the small amount we get in Florida! YUCK YUCK YUCK!
