When we pulled into the parking area at the fest yesterday, Lexie looked out and saw the Ferris wheel and rides, did a fist pump, and yelled "Dis gonna be AWESOME!!!"
I told Aiden, "I like it when you listen." To which he replied "I like it when you let me do whatever I want, Mommy." Brutal honesty. Love it.
Lexie (as we watered our flowers outside): Mommy, when I was big, and you was little, YOU helped ME water flowers when Daddy was gone! Me: I did? When I was little and you were big? Lexie: YES! You helped me and it make Daddy sooo happy!
Lexie: Come here please, Aiden! Aiden: I'm not your assistant, Yexie!!
Julia asked me where we are going and then says "I remember, is it the Foxtrot, Echo, Sierra, Tango?" I just laughed and said "Did you REALLY just spell that?!" Once she figured out Wally spelling this to me in the car a year or so ago, she never forgot! Military kid thru and thru!
Aiden: GET OUT OF MY ROOM FOREVER, YEXIE!
Aiden: Mommy, We need to go dis place, you can always go there and they have any type of food you've never tried, they have a hotel too. Me: What's it called? Aiden: It's called "Any Kind of Place." You have to wake up early before it closes. It closes at 10, I mean 11. You know how to get there? You go straight and then right. You do. I heard about dis place, Mommy. It's no big deal.
